At Navmar, our main goal is to develop and deliver technology and products to provide unmatched capability for the men and women who protect America against any adversary. Defense acquisition is a complex process with many concurrent activities. To go beyond expectations, it is paramount to understand the Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition process, decision support systems and development phases - each of which is structured into discrete phases, major decisions points, and informed decision making. Navmar knows this acquisition process well and prides itself on having the necessary expertise to take technology and products from concept to reality. This includes identifying needs and analyzing them, developing concepts, designs and prototypes, technology risk assessments, test and evaluation, production, support, maintenance and upgrades.


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Navmar's approach to finding solutions for complex problems is to bring together the best of the best in a collaborative team environment. This approach enables us to fully understand the issues, and develop a solution that meets or exceeds customer needs with minimum risk and cost. We bring together engineering skills in an interdisciplinary approach encompassing the entire technical effort to form an integrated team dedicated to developing the best solution for the customer. Paramount is the systems engineering role, which is the integrating mechanism that assures a balanced solution across all of the technical efforts related to the development, manufacturing, verification, deployment, and support for the system over its lifecycle.

Navmar is dedicated to maintaining the highest levels of quality and is committed to continual monitoring of our processes and the training of our personnel. Navmar uses a Quality Management System (QMS), which is "ISO 9001:2008" certified for the provision of Engineering Support Services. As part of the ISO certification Navmar continuously monitors our customer satisfaction level and inputs their feedback into our self-improvement process.

Navmar utilizes an internal training program, known as Navmar University, to develop and maintain a high quality of in-house technical and leadership capabilities. Three levels of training are addressed: the Core Program – for personnel who directly influence Navmar product development and customer relations; the Advanced Program – for Navmar project leaders, team leaders, and mid-level managers; and, the Leadership Academy – for Navmar high-level managers.
