- Training Camps
- Development Schools
- Specialty Clinics
NASC offers three levels of training, which cover all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced, collegiate or professional level players. They are as follows:
PLAY S.A.F.E.
PLAY S.A.F.E. camps feature an innovative curriculum designed to meet a child's need pathways. As part of the SBC curriculum, NASC focuses on the child as an individual and as a player. Therefore, we develop communication and social interaction, cooperation and teamwork, trust and patience as well a further interest in the game and MLS.

A.T.T.A.C.K.
The A.T.T.A.C.K. program is for the more serious soccer player looking to progress to the next level. The majority of players at these camps are moving from a recreational to a more competitive camp setting, and looking to develop their techniques and test them against opponents within a team setting. The coaching style on these camps is designed to maximize the player's ability and push them along by insisting on correct attitude, reinforcing the need for soccer-specific conditioning before moving through a technical to tactical to positional play within the team. At the end of each camp day we move into a competitive setting before warming down and discussing the theme for the day and how they can use this during their upcoming season. At this level we are looking to see if players understand the responsibilities of positions on the field as well as formations and tactics. Above all, an attitude to compete and develop is #1!

Pro Performance Training
Rather than call this program a "camp," NASC prefers to see it as a training week to prepare your most advanced players for their upcoming season. The curriculum is a replica of what a pro player might expect to go through as they prepare for the season. The emphasis on Physical, Positional and Team Performance requires that only our most elite coaches be used. At this level it is not just playing with a soccer ball, but a chance for players to test themselves against opponents to see how prepared they are to attain the elite level of play that professionals aspire to. Our goal is to develop complete players who understand team formations and strategies, with practice always at game intensity. They must also have a clear understanding of their positional role within the team. As part of Pro Performance Training, our team of professionally certified Conditioning Trainers runs a clinic to educate your coaches on how to utilize the training package. All equipment is left with your organization so you can continue to condition your players throughout the season. This Conditioning Training Package is valued at over $600, and consists of 5 Medium Smart Toners (covered resistance tubing), 5 Slingshots, 2 Agility Ladders and 12 Agility Hurdles.

R.E.A.C.H. Goalkeeping Clinics
In creating the Goalkeeper Training program, we recognized the uniqueness of the position and injected a number of preparatory speed and agility drills, skill development drills and active functional practices. Many of the rule changes invoked by FIFA have had a significant impact on the position and demands of coaching the position. The role of the keeper is addressed directly in our R.E.A.C.H. curriculum: Readiness, Excellence, Attitude, Coordination and Handling. The first three areas address the mentality and the demands of the position. Coordination and handling relate to the specific skills needed for the goalkeeper as we coordinate the psychological training with the technical and tactical elements. Goalkeepers must be well rounded in all aspects of the game. R.E.A.C.H. ensures that they are equipped for the demands of shot stopping, diving and deflections, catching and punching, positional play, distribution, field organization and playing the role of the fifth defender

Development Schools are divided into two categories, Club and Regional. Club Development Schools feature the town hosting a school for players within a community. Regional Development Schools get players from the surrounding area to sign up to attend and play against other players from different towns.
Some of these schools are sponsored by the local MLS team and can provide the first step towards playing professionally in Major League Soccer! Regional Development Schools are often by invitation only and players have access to benefits with the MLS team in their area such as tickets and in some locations meeting the players and coaches of the team. The programs run for 4 to 8 weeks and can run throughout the year moving to indoor locations during the winter and early spring.
Structure of the Development Schools
The curriculum for the school is based around structured session components. Each week a different technique and skill is focused on so that by the end of the program the player has had the chance to go through an intensive soccer education and development. At the end of the schools, each player is assessed to a level of play from 1 through 5.
PLAY S.A.F.E. Development School addresses the first 3 levels and suggests the player is developing the skills required
A.T.T.A.C.K. Development School is Level 4 and identifies a player that has achieved the necessary skill
